Beyond the menu change our lives have been pretty mello lately. Brady is happy and thriving. He resurrected the zurburt noise, which combined with the solid food option makes wearing a raincoat indoors necessary.

Carrots anyone
Brady 1, Mom 3! Ha! Our boy likes carrots. Brady happily housed several servings of carrots, sans sugar I might add. Next up...sweet potato puree. YUM-ME.

Fireside Chat
Brady thought he would conduct his first fireside chat today in honor of the inauguration of President Obama. He has vowed to keep it as neutral as possible because he knows in his short 5 months of life he isn't informed enough to make a party decision. On the other hand it should take less than 3 seconds to realize we are on the right track now! You can see by his attire today he tried to represent the Democrats, Republicans and the hip independents.
Brady wrote his own speech and declined the assistance of both a speech writer and a tella-prompter. He feels flying by the seat of his diaper is the way to truly reach the people. I won't bore you with the entire ramblings of his speech, but instead summarize for you. He thinks you're all real neat, sending gifts stimulates the economy and he's creating jobs by hiring an entourage. Applications now being accepted. Peace!

Writer Strike
Sorry there hasn't been a post in awhile. Brady went on strike. He is so particular about his creative work. We finally negotiated some terms and tah dah we are back on the blog. What were the terms you ask? Milk access 24/7 warmed to a perfect 98.6 degrees, no more no less, daily visits and holdings by pretty girls, pimp'n wardrobe, diaper changes, warmed wipes and no more than a 3.5 second delay to all demands.....or else!
On a lighter and less demanding note Brady welcomed back Grandma Robin! She left her sultry home in California to brave the sub zero weather here in the heartland, or more like frozen tundra. I think she may plan her future visits for the spring and summer months. Brady offered her his sleep sack to keep her warm. He has enjoyed every minute with her and will miss her when she goes home.

Work It
2009 has brought about a baby boom in Brady's social circle. He of course is hoping for all girls, but would be okay with a few boys to push around. Congrats to the many couples expecting baby #1, #2 or #3!!

Skers
So far 2009 has been splendid. Brady has napped, ate and napped. I like his style.
