This week has been pretty average...yeah I said average...it doesn't feel that new to have Brady with us. We are beginning to build a routine and the adjustments don't feel necessarily feel like adjustments anymore. It is amazing how what felt so foreign just five short weeks ago, now feels so natural. Jen must have secretly taking parenting classes before Brady arrived because she makes it seem so easy.
Jen did try to freak me out a couple of days ago by dropping the "at the end of the month, I am going to go out with some girlfriends for dinner". Now that statement isn't too scary right? I was like, "sounds good, I will find something to do that night". Then she hits me with #2 of the 1-2 punch, "you realize your going to stay home with him?". WHAT?...I CAN"T BE LEFT ALONE WITH HIM!!! WHAT IF HE WON"T STOP CRYING? So much for natural, huh?
Jen's mom is coming over to ease my transition into solo parenting.
