Brady finally got his party! We celebrated on the hottest day of the year at Mama's Pizza. Brady really wanted to wear his birthday suit and claims it was due to the uncomfortably hot weather, but I saw through his plan. I told him that the only time naked counts as proper attire is either on your very first birthday (the one at the hospital) or on your 98th, when most of your friends can't see you anyways. Brady enjoyed some birthday pudding as opposed to cake. He is extremely fond of vanilla and quickly housed it before his Dad could swoop in and take his sugar away! Pudding is the safest bet considering he has yet to get a tooth. Overall the party was a success. Brady really dug all the attention and couldn't believe the number of cool gifts he received. He was disappointed that a pretty girl didn't jump out of his birthday pudding though. I told him there's always next year. Thanks to everyone for celebrating Brady's first year of life! We really had a great time!
