When I was a kid I loved the comic "Love is." It's simple and always seemed to match every moment in my life. This year I'm writing my own "Love is."
Love is:
Looking at my little boy and not seeing Down syndrome
Today, I see a silly little boy, laughing and giggling as he tries to walk in mama's size 8 rubber boots. I couldn't be more grateful to call him our son.
Happy Valentines (Ballantines) Day! Write your own "Love is" this year.

Oh my, these are some cute pics!! Love those boots and the little boy in them is adorable;) Great post!!
Ok, you made me cry and I am NOT blamming it on hormones! That is so sweet and EXACTLY how I feel about Vollen. I forget 98% of the time. And I don't see it when I look at him.
Thanks Jen!
My Love Is: Meeting the BEST DS Moms ever and creating life-long friendships! Seriously!!!!
That was wonderful!
Love is: Waking up every morning and seeing my son sleep peacefully knowing he will awake soon with energy and conversation that brightens my day.
