t fleece and contain footies. Her jammies phase has partially passed. She makes it to noon and her public gear is out the window.
Brady has been knee deep in leaves this fall. He says the ladies love the smell of nature and who can argue with that? Mr. B has settled in nicely to his new preschool. He has started learning to write his letters. It is amazing! He is especially interested in the letters K-I-N-G. Hmmmm, not a shocker B man.
Mallory is such a spirited little girl. Everyday she adds to her vocabulary. Her language is unique and the only two people on the planet that speak it are B man and our sweet Malligator. They will quickly have an exchange and they are off. What I thought was a mixture of musical notes and burps is actually a whole conversation on nuclear physics. Fascinating!
Her personality is exploding. She is nurturing with a dab of fire. She can turn a hug into a head lock in 2 seconds flat. Something I hope she holds on to until middle school.
Halloween was crazy this year. Obviously, Brady was a lion and Mallory was a cheeseburger. Brady was thrilled to wear his costume. I actually had to hide it until the Holiday because our boy would have worn it 24/7. It provided the best excuse to growl and terrorize all walking things. Mallory prefers to eat cheeseburgers, not wear them. Her vote on the costume deal....LAME. About 1 second after this picture was taken the burger went flying. So, for the rest of the evening she went as a "toddler in brown pants." Charming. Our neighborhood really does a great job creating a wonderfully festive Halloween route. There are fire pits, strobe lights, pumpkins, and every other Halloween accessory you can imagine. The only problem with this, is that all of Omaha wants to take part in the fun too. Our neighbor gave out 1550 pieces of candy! That's a lot of kit kats folks!
Brady has already begun "training" for next year.
