F is for Flu

The flu bug has struck the Shannon household. Brady boy initiated us into the baby world of vomit on Wednesday morning at 5:00am. I walked into his room to find he had transformed into a volcano overnight. Mt. Saint Pukester. If you have ever seen a little one ralph then you know it is traumatic. The up chucking persisted for 3 more days and finally concluded yesterday. It got to the point where I stopped changing my clothes. Why I had to be in such close proximity I have no idea, I guess that's what Mom's do.
Yesterday we were rejoicing in the fact that Brady finally ate something and kept it down. Not to disappoint SIR flu bug, Jeff and I picked up where Brady left off. So who takes care of Brady when both parents are down for the count?? We can't subject family and friends to our germy little homestead. SO, who else?? Trusty Bill. He is amazingly reliable even though he doesn't have thumbs. He played Brady's signing video, changed his diaper and nursed him with his tiny teets (Meet the Parents reference).
So here we are on recovery Sunday. I think the thick of the storm has passed.

You know, Brady had mentioned trying to get rid of some of those Holiday pounds, but this is ridiculous.
